The power of the jump rope

Rope skipping is not only a lot of fun, but also a great way to improve your speed, coordination and balance. In addition, a jump rope can be used for various other sports purposes. It can be part of the warm-up or endurance training. It can also be used as a cardio training. It is therefore an excellent way to burn calories and lose weight. Jumping rope can be made as difficult or as easy as you want. You can vary between various exercises and jumping techniques. Think of a double hop, high knee or single leg hop, where you jump on one leg. Jumping rope is a full-body exercise and it is not for nothing that this is an important part of the training of many athletes!

The difference between the jump rope and the speed rope

In our range you will find two types of jump ropes. The normal jump rope and the speed rope. Both types are top quality and suitable for an intensive workout. The difference between a normal jump rope and a speed rope is in the cable, the design and the technique of the jump rope. The speed rope is built to turn quickly. This allows the cable to make several revolutions around your body in one jump. You can recognize the speed rope by the way the cable is attached to the handles. With a good speed rope it is attached to the handles at an angle of 90 °. In addition, a speed rope has a steel cable with a coating around it. The speed rope also contains rotary bearings and has a low weight. Do you want to reach a maximum rotation speed? Then the speed rope is essential.
